چکیده
Abstract Background The prognostic impact of heart failure relative to that “high-profile” disease states such as cancer within the whole population is poorly known. Some data reported 2 decades ago indicated was “malignant” many common types (with notable exception lung cancer) and associated with a comparable number expected life-years lost. Whether this also case in more recent years unknown. Methods In nationwide cohort study including 5,123,193 patients seen French hospitals 2012 at least 5 follow-up (or dying earlier), all first admission any hospital or were identified. We assessed incidence all-cause death during (2,523,627person-years). analysed outcome for most specific men women results then age-adjusted women. Results 2012, 409,210 had hospitalisation (n=164,601) (n=244,609). Similarly, 325,410 admitted (n=127,734), (n=197,676). Heart worse survival rate than urologic breast cancer, gynaecologic gastrointestinal (Figure 1). On an basis, except (see adjusted hazard ratios Table Cancer cancer.
